Perricone MD Cleansing Treatment Bar

Breakouts are the bain of my life. There is nothing worse than having to cover up your skin just to feel normal. When you ned to step up your skin care to battle a breakout, try this.

Perricone MD Cleansing Treatment Bar.

Yes its a bar of soap, how very retro. It contains Glycolic Acid and Dr Perricone's signature ingredients to resurface and reveal a healthy glowing complexion. Not only does it shrink and dry out spots, it exfoliates without scrubbing. Soap can often feel drying and make your skin tight, but this doesnt, You're left feeling hydrated, clean and glowing. You can also use this all over your body and target areas such as elbows and knees for a good exfoliation. It lathers well so you dont use much for each application and you can use this on the days you need it rather than everyday. It doesnt smell like a chemical timebomb either, just clean and fresh. When I used this I had a noticeable reduction in the size of spots and they were dried out and gone within a couple of days. Perfect. I highly recommend this little gem.

Max Factor Xperience Weightless Foundation

Foundation for me has to make me look alive. Thats probably the main reason I wear it. I want to look less me and more made up. But some days, I dont want to pile it on just to go to the shops.

Max Factor have launched their weightless foundation. Its oil free and offers 'flawless coverage with a weightless feel'. This foundation is perfect for 'no make up' days or days where you just want an even complexion as opposed to get the trowl out! When my skin is misbehaving, I definitely need concealer too. A good staple for my collection and great for holidays.

Wella SP - Volume

Volume... yes I am at it again. Battling the forever need to put some oomph into my locks. Wella are launching a new styling range called SP. In the range is a volumising foam, styling lotion & hairspray.

My favourite is the volumising foam- Delicate Volume, which is the perfect way to describe the effect it gives. I decant 2 pumps into my hands then distrubute evenly over damp hair, follow with a few spritz on my roots of the styling lotion, Resolute Lift and blow dry as normal. There is lift, there is hold but there isnt crispy, overprocessed hair. Lovely. Not only does it protect from heat styling, it also protects against harmful UV rays.

You can buy yours from all good salons from January 2011.

Smell of the week...

Ecover Shower Gel in Citrus & Orange Blossom. Ecover’s personal care range is not only kind to the environment but also pH neutral, meaning it's gentle on your skin too. Ecover hand soap and shower gel are biodegradable and, once they go down the plughole, have a minimum impact on aquatic life.

Fresh, fruity and just the right amount of refreshing for your morning shower. I love it so much, I'm using the hand wash too.

They are available in two natural, plant based fragrances: lavender and aloe vera and current favourite citrus and orange blossom - both designed to relax, soothe and regenerate the skin.

This somehow makes up for getting out of bed in the dark!

Liz Earle Superskin - Eye & Lip Treatment

My new found love for eye creams continues with Liz Earle's Superskin Eye & Lip Treatment. It claims to visibly plump & smooth... which... it does.

I am using this as a night eye cream while I finish up my last day one. This offers just the right amount of moisture to make a difference but doesnt leave a film on your skin which is perfect for morning & night. One little pump works for both eyes as well as the lip line. I had never given thought to the lip area until this product came along. Eyes were my priority but of course, take Pat Butcher for example! (Google her if you are not in the UK). I dont want a cats behind for lips, thank you.

Yes the bottle is small but a little goes a long way with this little gem. You can get yours here.
