The Body Shop - Rainforest Hair Care

The Body Shop have launched a new hair care range called Rainforest Hair Care. As with all products from TBS, they are Eco-Conscious. They contain no silicones, sulphates, parabens or colourants which not only helps to look after your hair, but will also mean that our rivers and seas are not polluted which can damage the health of our sealife. I had never even thought about what effect products can have on our waterlife. 'It is respectful to the aquatic environment, meets strict biodegradability standards, and minimises the use of non-sustainable packaging resources. We’re working hard to help protect our planet.'

I used the Moisture range for my dry, bleached hair. Because all the bad stuff has been removed, I was worried how clean my hair would feel after using it. The shampoo is really thick and sticky and lathers ok. The conditioner was thick and held to my hair well. You need to rinse these well. I found that too much product and my hair would get greasy quicker than normal and my hair would be weighed down. I would say use less than normal (which will make them last longer!) and rinse well.
